After 15 years as a solicitor and then sole PSL in the Construction and Engineering Team at Eversheds LLP, Sarah set up her own legal training company focusing on interactive workshops in construction law and contracts. Since 2009 she has been an associate lecturer for the University of Salford’s post-graduate and under-graduate courses. In 2013 she wrote a SCL Hudson award-winning paper on limits in letters of intent, which she updated for publication in the peer-reviewed October 2014 International Journal for Law in the Built Environment. She is author of the 500-Word Contract for use in construction projects and an advocate of plain language in contracts.
