Pat Saini

Pat Saini heads the immigration team at Penningtons Manches. She advises multinational corporate clients and the board of various universities and large private sector clients on risk management, sponsor compliance matters, the prevention of illegal working and the immigration aspects of business restructuring. Pat often liaises with senior Home Office officials on behalf of clients. She also has experience of challenging Home Office decisions where action has been taken by UKVI.

Her specialist areas of work also include immigration services for private individuals, many of whom are applying for Tier 1 investor and entrepreneur visas, and she has a wealth of experience in dealing with human rights cases, appeals, judicial reviews and Court of Appeal matters.

Pat not only advises on all aspects of business and individual immigration law but also lobbies on behalf of her clients for immigration rule changes. Advisory and campaign groups seek her clear vision of how and why the UK’s immigration policy is crucial to maintaining UK plc’s ability to attract the best global talent.

Pat joined Penningtons in 2009 and became a partner in 2012. She has over 20 years of experience practising immigration and nationality law. She is recommended by The Legal 500 and Chambers Guide to the UK Legal Profession where she is described as ‘savvy’ and ‘technically outstanding’ and noted for her ‘handling of immigration matters for higher education institutions’.
