LLM candidate in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS), former Senior Associate, KIAP


Mikhail Samoylov is a litigation and arbitration lawyer, who worked for the Russian law firm Korelskiy, Ischuk, Astafiev and Partners (KIAP) and is now a LLM candidate in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS). He has experience of litigation, including commercial, banking & finance, company and taxation disputes. He has represented some of Russia’s largest companies as well as international corporations in all tiers of the state courts, including the Supreme Commercial Court of the Russian Federation. Mr Samoylov notably represented ZAO RTK (MTS Retail) in a Russian Federation Supreme Commercial Court case against Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications Rus concerning the effect of unilateral arbitration clauses.
