Miguel Ángel is a lawyer at the EU & Competition department in the Brussels office of Garrigues since 2013.
He holds Degrees in Law and Business Administration from the University of Zaragoza (Spain), a Master’s degree in Economics from the College of Europe (Bruges, Belgium) and a Master’s Degree in Law and Finance from the University of Oxford (UK).
During his experience in Garrigues, he has been working particularly in State aid and regulated sectors, including banking, telecommunications, IT and energy.
Prior joining Garrigues Brussels, he built up working experience in the Zaragoza office of the same law firm and at the legal department of the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg.
He is the author of a number of publications in specialised journals, including World Competition and European State Aid Law Quarterly, of which he currently holds the position of national correspondent.
