Leon's practice centres on Public Law and Commercial/Insurance Law, including the crossover between the areas. He has appeared in the Court of Appeal, High Court, County Court and FTT.

Leon is also a tutor in Law at Hughes Hall, University of Cambridge. During term time, he visits Cambridge one afternoon every two weeks to undertake law tutorials.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Leon worked for the Texas Defender Service (a non-profit law firm in Austin who represent death row inmates), was part of the Burma Justice Committee Working Group writing a policy document led by Sappho Dias and Timothy Dutton QC, and part of the Cambridge Working Group responding to the DPP’s consultation on prosecuting assisted suicide.
