Kevin is a social welfare lawyer specialising in housing.
He worked for Notting Hill Housing Trust from 1998 in housing management and regeneration, before switching paths to work in the voluntary advice sector. He has been employed by Lambeth Law Centre since 2006 where he qualified as a solicitor. He has extensive experience of casework across the welfare law spectrum including first-tier and upper tribunal work in benefits and rents, homelessness reviews and appeals, large-scale disrepair cases, county court possession, and urgent Judicial Review work. He has a particular interest in vulnerability and capacity, and having trained as an employment discrimination lawyer, cases engaging issues under the Equality Act.
He has written for publications in the advice sector and has been a regular contributor on LexisNexis Current Awareness.
