Julia Gasparro

Julia is a family law practitioner also specialising in immigration, particularly where the two disciplines are concurrent. She has extensive experience acting for local authorities, parents, children and their guardians in complex cases involving sexual abuse and non-accidental injury as well as forced marriage, removal from the jurisdiction and inter-country adoption where immigration/human rights issues often arise. Prior to joining the Bar, Julia worked for the Immigration Advisory Service preparing and presenting appeals and has for many years undertaken pro bono work for Bail for Immigration Detainees
