Jeremy is Head of the UK competition team in London, specialising in EU law, EU and UK competition law across all sectors. He assists clients with competition investigations, EU litigation and competition advice in commercial transactions.

His work covers international merger control for mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures; distribution and licensing arrangements; restrictive agreements/abuse of dominance; competition compliance; State aid; sanctions; economic regulation of certain industry sectors, in particular aviation, transport, energy and utilities; and the legal implications of “Brexit”.

Jeremy is also widely published in antitrust law:

  • The Competition Chapter to the Law Society’s IP Handbook.
  • A case comment on the Microsoft browser case in a leading academic/practitioner journal.
  • The Competition chapter of the Investors' Guide to the United Kingdom.
  • Chapter author of Butterworths Competition Law.
  • Jeremy has also appeared as a panellist in an industry discussion on the effectiveness of the UK’s communications regulator, Ofcom.
