Eleni is a member of the Competition and European Law team of CMS since May 2011. Her practice focuses on issues related to the public sector and to the intervention in the market of public operators as well as to sector-specific regulation (State aid, exclusive rights, abuse of dominant position, opening to competition of regulated markets). Eleni has also developed an expertise on all aspects of European law (national measures transposing EU directives, compatibility of national texts with European standards, introduction of national provisions in compliance with EU law). Her activity includes advice as well as litigation before French and European courts and authorities (French jurisdictions up to the French Supreme Administrative Court, Court of Justice of the European Union, European Court of Human Rights, French Competition Authority, European Commission) in a wide variety of sectors: transport, pharmaceutical industry, energy, electronic communications, infrastructures, tobacco industry, fishing.
