Eleanor is a partner in the Glasgow office of CMS UK having trained, qualified and worked at Dundas & Wilson CS LLP until their 2013 merger with CMS. She has almost 20 years' experience in advising on a range of international maritime issues including vessel sale and purchase, ship building, finance structures and charterparties, ship management and crewing, shipping / haulage contracts, and arrangements with port & harbour authorities. She has advised a number of European public authorities, including the Scottish Government, on a range of publicly-subsidised ferry services. Eleanor has also been involved in a number of high profile projects across the transport sector and she has considerable experience of public procurement and public/private partnering arrangements. She is the convenor of the Marine Law Sub-Committee of the Law Society of Scotland.
