Ekaterina Finkel

Ekaterina (Katia) is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution team in London. Her practice includes a broad spectrum of commercial litigation and dispute resolution work, including international arbitration, white collar crime, and general contractual disputes. She spent six months on secondment to the England & Wales Court of Appeal where she was a judicial assistant to Lady Justice Arden. Before joining Baker McKenzie, Katia taught a Masters course in International Commercial and Investment Arbitration at King's College London for three years. In addition, Katia gained experience in private practice with law firms in Moscow (Kolegia Advokatov Pavel Astakhov), Frankfurt (Patzina Rechstanwalte) and Paris (Marchi Avocats); and in public international law during her internship at the European Court of Human Rights. Katia has an LL.M. from KCL, a Masters in Private International and Business Law from Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne and undergraduate degrees in law from Paris and London.
