Partner, DAC Beachcroft


Chris Doran was called to the Bar in 1990, admitted as a solicitor in 1998 and became a partner at Beachcroft (now DAC Beachcroft) in 2005.

Chris has considerable experience of acting for employers, contractors and construction professionals in a wide variety of construction and engineering disputes, involving litigation, arbitration, mediation and adjudications. This includes complex and high-value international disputes arising out of the major standard forms of building contract, such as the JCT Standard Forms of Contract (including the DOM/1 and 2 forms of sub-contract), the FIDIC forms, the RIBA form, NEC, ICE and ACE conditions, as well as bespoke contracts.
