Osborne Clarke

Caroline's focus at Osborne Clarke is the renewables sector, and during her time here she has advised the lenders and sponsors on the financing of wind farms, solar farms and AD and EfW plants, working closely with Osborne Clarke's construction, projects, property, tax, corporate and regulatory teams. Recent experience includes advising the sponsors on the portfolio financing of solar assets, the borrower on the financing of a large onshore wind farm, the lenders on the financing of battery storage projects and the lenders on a private wire biomass plant. Previous experience includes advising the borrower on the financing of the design, construction and operation of a bioethanol plant, helping a borrower obtain the funding to acquire an oil and gas asset portfolio, and advising lenders in respect of numerous reserve based lending facilities. Caroline's experience has been truly international, dealing with companies, assets and lenders in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa, as well as the UK. Caroline also has in-house experience, having previously undertaken secondments to two different banks. Caroline joined Osborne Clarke in Bristol in January 2013, after nearly nine years of working at a Magic Circle firm in London (including six months in their Singapore office).
