Carlos Ramos-Mrosovsky

Carlos Ramos-Mrosovsky is counsel with Alston & Bird's International Arbitration & Dispute Resolution Team. He represents multinational companies and sovereign governments in commercial and treaty-based disputes around the world and before U.S. federal courts, with an emphasis on the energy, mining, and infrastructure sectors. Carlos recently acted for the claimant in a case yielding one of the largest investment treaty awards ever granted in an arbitration administered by the World Bank's International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). He has also managed arbitrations arising under the rules of, among others, the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC), and International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR). He is the co-chair of the International Arbitration Committee of the International Section of the New York State Bar Association.
