Anca Jurcovan is Managing Associate in Ţuca Zbârcea & Asociaţii's competition and intellectual property practice group and specialises in both competition and IP law, notably in the healthcare and pharmaceuticals sectors. For the past 9 years, she has successfully assisted well-known clients during the antitrust investigations conducted by the Romanian Competition Council and has been involved, on the side of both private and public bodies, in the most important State aid cases impacting on the Romanian market. She has a solid experience in providing legal tools to achieve the clients’ business purposes and avoiding red flag areas from an antitrust perspective as well as in tailoring defence strategies before the antitrust authorities and relevant courts.
Furthermore, she has actively supported the firm’s mergers and acquisitions practice group with complex antitrust and merger issues impacting on large domestic and international transactions. She has also provided customized legal training and compliance programs to companies active in various industries, such as pharma, FMGC, steel, telecom, energy etc.
