Codes of Practice: Cadbury Code
Materials
The Cadbury Code was published as part of the final Cadbury Report in 1992. Chaired by Sir Adrian Cadbury, the Committee set out basic corporate governance principles for companies to follow. The requirements are not mandatory; however, the Code recommends that companies state in their Annual Report and Accounts whether they have complied with the Code, and give reasons where compliance has not been achieved. This Code of Practice was superseded by the Combined Code in 1998.
