1 Title, application, commencement

(1)    The title of these Regulations is the Agricultural Subsidies and Grants Schemes (Appeals) (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2010.

(2)    These Regulations apply in relation to Wales, and come into force on 9 August 2010.

2Amendments to the Agricultural Subsidies and Grants Schemes (Appeals) (Wales) Regulations 2006

(1)    The Agricultural Subsidies and Grants Schemes (Appeals) (Wales) Regulations 2006 are amended in accordance with this regulation.

(2)    In regulation 2(1) and in the Schedule replace references to “Community legislation” with references to “EU legislation”.

(3)    In regulation 2(2) replace the reference to “a Community instrument” with a reference to “an EU instrument”.

(4)    In the Schedule after paragraph 12 add—

EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations make further amendments to the Agricultural Subsidies and Grants Schemes (Appeals) (Wales) Regulations 2006, SI 2006/3342 (W 303). The amendments replace the references to “Community legislation” with references to “EU legislation”(European Union legislation), and update the list of such legislation in SI 2006/3342 (W 303) as amended by SI 2007/2900 (W 251).

A Regulatory Impact Assessment has not been prepared as the amendments covered by these Regulations relate to existing arrangements for appeals.
