The Case

Medical practitioner Disciplinary committee. The appellant midwife was struck off the register following a determination of the Panel of the Conduct and Competence Committee that found that her fitness to practice was impaired by reason of misconduct. Following an appeal by the appellant, the respondent Nursing and Midwifery Council found that the Panel's approach was flawed in certain respects and left it to the parties to make submissions as to the outcome of the findings.
