The Case

European Union State Aid. The Court of Justice of the European Union ruled on the interpretation of art 4a(1) of Council Regulation (EC) 320-2006 (establishing a temporary scheme for the restructuring of the sugar industry in the European Community) in the context of a sugar beet producer, CS AGRO Ronov s.r.o. not concluding an agreement to provide sugar beet for the year 2008-2009.
