The Case

Sentence Imprisonment. The Court of Appeal, Criminal Division, held that a sentence of 16 months' imprisonment on a plea of guilty to violent disorder was not arguably manifestly excessive or wrong in principle in the case of the son of famous guitarist who had been found swinging off of a flag at the cenotaph during student protests in December 2010.
