Medical practitioner Negligence. The Queen's Bench Division held that the claimant had failed to establish that the negligence of the defendant health authority's obstetrician in failing to carry out a further cardiotocograph trace of the claimant's mother when she was at 37 weeks gestation had been the cause of brain damage suffered by the claimant.
