The Case

Education School. Queen's Bench Division, Administrative Court (London): An application by the claimant local education authority for judicial review of the decision of the defendant panel that a school's admissions code did not comply with the 2007 School Admissions Code was allowed on the basis that the panel had misdirected itself both in applying the 2007 Code as opposed to the School Admissions code issued in 2009 and because it had misdirected itself in its application of the 2007 code, even if it had applied.
