Sentence - Disqualification - Disqualification from driving - Dangerous driving - Defendant pleading guilty and being sentenced to imprisonment with disqualification from driving for five years - Whether period of disqualification excessive.
Sentence Disqualification. Court of Appeal, Criminal Division: A period of four years disqualification from driving was substituted in place of a five year disqualification period, pursuant to the objective of rehabilitation, in circumstances where the defendant had no previous convictions.
