The Case

In the instant case, the General Medical Council's Fitness to Practise Panel had been entitled to find that the appellant was guilty of serious professional misconduct on allegations which concerned her practice at various slimming clinics, and to order erasure from the medical register on the grounds that the appellant had not demonstrated 'full insight into her misconduct' and that there was a 'significant risk of her repeating her behaviour'.
