The Case

Family proceedings Orders in family proceedings. Where a previous fact-finding hearing had found that the mother's husband had sexually abused his own son an nephew and that he posed a risk to the mother's three children, the fathers of the two elder children obtained residence orders and the local authority's application for a care order in relation to the youngest child was acceded to. On the evidence, the mother had not ended her relationship with the husband.
