Sentence Mandatory life sentence. The offender's minimum term of 13 years remained the same, less the 6 months and 25 days that he had spent in custody on remand, following a review of the tariff pursuant to para3 of Sch22 to the in respect of a murder of the deceased in which the offender had disarmed the deceased of his knife and then fatally stabbed him with it.
