Sentence - Imprisonment - Period of imprisonment - Robbery - Guilty plea - Defendant ordered to serve two years' imprisonment consecutive to unexpired portion of previous sentence - Judge specifying release date - Whether judge specifying correct date.
Sentence Imprisonment. In the instant case, the judge had failed to correctly calculate how the defendant's unexpired portion of his previous sentence should have been served in addition to the two years that he had imposed for the instant offence of robbery; accordingly, the correct release date was determined.
