The Case

Gaming Lawful and unlawful gaming. The claimant casino owners' challenge to transitional provisions introduced by the defendant Secretary of State concerning new and existing casinos, under the Gaming Act 2005, was dismissed. The impugned provision (para65 of Sch4 to the (Commencement No 6 and Transitional Provisions) Order 2006, ) had been validly made.
