Practice - Civil litigation - Case management - MMR/MR Litigation - Claims - Procedure.
Practice Civil litigation. The following practice direction was handed down in relation to the MMR-MR vaccine litigation: 1The practice direction made by Lord Bingham of Cornhill, the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, on 8 July 1999 is hereby revoked. 2Any existing claims within the terms of that practice direction should henceforth proceed as unitary actions. Any further claims which would have come within the terms of that practice direction should be issued and proceed as unitary actions. 3The Civil Procedure Rules will apply to all such claims. 4The making of this practice direction has been approved, in relation to the County Courts, by Lord Phillips of Worth Matravers, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales.
