European Community - Reference to European Court - Request for preliminary ruling concerning interpretation of Community law - Party advertising low prices by comparison with applicant's pricing - Applicant claiming advertising infringing Community law - Whether advertisement falling within acceptable Community limits - Council Directive (EEC) 84/450, art 3a(1).
In a case involving the provisions of art3a(1) of Council Directive (EEC) 84-450 (relating to the approximation of the laws, regulations and administrative provisions of the member states concerning misleading advertising), as amended by Council Directive (EC) 97-55, the Court of Justice gave preliminary rulings on the interpretation of those provisions.
