Sentence - Possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply - Custodial sentence - Defendant being sentenced to 30 months' imprisonment - Whether duration of custodial sentence manifestly excessive.
Sentence Possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply. A sentence of 30 months' imprisonment for the supply of two wraps of class A drugs to prison, with a street value of about 50, was quashed and a sentence of 18months' substituted, having regard to the defendant's good character and otherwise substantial mitigation.
