Criminal evidence - Complaints in sexual cases - Recent complaint - Whether judge's direction adequate - Whether conviction unsafe.
In the instant case, where the defendant was tried on an indictment containing a number of counts of indecent assault, the judge's directions to the jury as to the issue of recent complaint had not rendered the conviction unsafe. He had directed the jury in accordance with the reality of the case.
