Negligence - Surveyor - Duty to take care - Reinstatement works - Whether surveyor in breach of duty.
The court ruled, inter alia, that the approach adopted by the surveyor in the instant case was one which many surveyors in his position would have reasonably adopted in the particular circumstances. Accordingly the court absolve him of any negligence in respect of the temperature and humidity in the house during reinstatement.
