The Case

On the evidence, the court was satisfied that the first defendant was guilty of 'serious, contumacious, flouting of orders of the court' that merited a custodial sentence as he had refused to comply with an earlier court order in important respects and that his disclosure had, in material respects, been false. The case was adjourned until January 2006, when the appropriate penalty would be decided.
