Sentencing - Custodial sentence - Duration - Discount for guilty plea - Perverting the course of justice.
In general, where a defendant had attempted to hide his identity unsuccessfully upon arrested, prosecutors should not include a specific count of perverting the course of justice. Accordingly the defendant sentence of nine months' imprisonment was reduced to four months' imprisonment.
