The Case

In deciding a case management issue, the Competition Appeal Tribunal was required by r19 of the Tribunal's Rules to give such directions as it thought fit to secure the just, expeditious and economical conduct of the proceedings and, moreover, to take account of the overriding objective in civil proceedings.
