A hearing conducted by a disciplinary board under the Police (Discipline) Regulations 1985 was, having regard to the procedure set out those Regulations, a quasi-judicial proceeding such as to entitle the board conducting it to absolute immunity from liability to all forms of action sought to be derived from what was said or done in the course of that hearing.
