Sentencing - Custodial sentence - Duration - Firearms.
Where the defendant threatened two workmen with what they perceived to be an airgun, the court allowed the defendant's appeal against sentence, holding that, in the circumstances, the defendant's sentence of nine months' imprisonment for an offence of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence was excessive, and substituted a sentence of six months' imprisonment.
