Employment - Redundancy - Diminution in employer's requirements - Reduction of paid work per annum - s 139(1)(b).
The employees' appeals were dismissed as the Employment Appeal Tribunal were in no doubt that the employment tribunal's decision that the employees' complaints did not fall within the statutory definition of redundancy in s139(1)(b) of the was correct, focusing, as it did, on the requirement for employees to do work of a particular kind rather than the amount of work to be done.
