Contribution - Third party proceedings - Claim 'in respect of same damage' - Defendants to claim for professional negligence seeking to recover contribution from firm of solicitors - Whether firm in breach of duty owed to claimant - s 1.
On a CPR Pt20 claim by which the defendants to an action for professional negligence sought to recover a contribution from the Pt20 claimants pursuant to the the court ruled that the Pt20 claimants had not acted in breach of any duty owed to the claimant in the main action and accordingly had no liability to make any payment by way of contribution to the defendants.
