Sentencing - Custodial sentence - Duration - Breach of community rehabilitation order.
The imposition of an 18-month detention and training order on a young offender who was in breach of a community rehabilitation order was excessive given that, prior to the breach, the offender had satisfactorily completed about two thirds of the latter order.
