Sentencing - Custodial sentence - Duration - Obtaining a money transfer by deception.
Where the defendant was sentenced to two years' imprisonment after having been convicted of two offences of obtaining a money transfer by deception and one of attempting to commit the same offence, it was held that in the circumstances the sentence was excessive, and a sentence of fifteen months' imprisonment was substituted.
