Sentencing - Custodial sentence - Duration - Totality - Possession of Class B drug - Possession of prohibited weapon.
Where the defendant had pleaded guilty to offences of possession of a Class B drug, possession of a prohibited weapon contrary to s5(1) of the Firearms Act and possessing ammunition without a firearms certificate, it was held that the total sentence of six and a half years' imprisonment was excessive, and that a total sentence of four and a half years' imprisonment was appropriate.
