Discrimination - Nationality - Entry and residence in United Kingdom - Lawfulness of Race Relations (Immigration and Asylum) Authorisation - Delegation of Secretary of State's power to authorise discriminatory acts - s 19D.
A Race Relations (Immigration and Asylum) Authorisation, which provided criteria by which an immigration officer was authorised to perform a discriminatory act, was outwith the power in s19D of the conferred on the Secretary of State personally to make such authorisations in respect of a particular case or class of case.
