The Case

The decision of a medical referee that a police officer was entitled to a policeman's injury award under paraB4 of the Police Pensions Regulations 1987 because the officer suffered from a disablement that had been caused by an injury sustained in the execution of his duty was not supported by the material that was before him and would be quashed.
