Contract - Termination - Notice to terminate - Franchise agreement - Franchisee refusing to co-operate in group activities - Whether franchiser entitled to terminate franchise agreements.
A statement by a franchisee that for the future he would not participate in group activities was a fundamental breach of the basic principles underlying a contract which the franchisee had undertaken to comply with. Accordingly, the franchiser had been entitled to terminate the contract.
