Employment - Redundancy - Compensation - Employer failing to adequately consult - Employment tribunal limiting compensation to three weeks wages - Reasonableness of decision.
An employment tribunal had been entitled to conclude that an employee had only been entitled to an extra three weeks pay where he had been dismissed without a proper consultation period, since the selection pool had consisted solely of one post and the tribunal had concluded that the employee would not have taken alternative employment.
