The Case

On an appeal to the Privy Council against a decision of the Professional Conduct Committee of the General Medical Council to erase from the register the appellant's name on grounds of serious professional misconduct, the Board ruled that the order for erasure was neither excessive nor disproportionate and there was no reason to disturb the committee's assessment.
