Sentencing - Custodial sentence - Duration - Blackmail.
On the facts of the instant case, an appropriate sentence for an offender of good character who had been found guilty on six counts of blackmail, where 74,000 had been obtained from an elderly victim who had committed suicide as a result, was of eight years' imprisonment on each count to run concurrently.
