The Case

It was questionable whether there was an obligation on a party to wardship proceedings to seek the permission of the judge before filing a statement of foreign law and practice from a duly qualified expert. However, in the instant case, the expert evidence sought to be introduced was relevant, and accordingly admissible in the proceedings.
